Hello,
I’m having the same issue. I am in the USA and can’t connect. I get an SOS as a signal. I have the monthly pass and it won’t work. I’ve tried resetting WiFi, turning my phone on and off, no luck. I don’t know how to get in touch as I’m unable to call EE. Any other fixes?
thanks,
cate

The Roaming Pass is just a billing add-on, did you enable the roaming facility before leaving the UK, by texting ROAMING to 150?
If not, then you will need to contact CS to enable international roaming which will allow your phone to connect to US networks. Many people use a web-calling app or another working phone to do so.

What is the number? Can I call on WhatsApp? No one explained to me when adding this to my account. I purchased the monthly to avoid these issues. Can I email someone? There is no way I can call.
please help.

EE maintain no email contact.
Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

There's no WhatsApp number, but +44 800 0798586 should work from Skype.
There's no email contact, but travelling abroad with only a billing add-on and not enabling the roaming facility, is a very common mistake.

I’ve been in New York with no mobile issues unti today. My roaming pass for North America was activated in plenty of time before I left the UK, I’ve been using my data, minutes and messages with no issues. Now getting ‘sos’ and constant search for a signal. Data roaming is on , no change to settings…
what’s going on

Hi @Ksphillips8,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Did you activate roaming by texting ROAMING to 150 before you travelled?
