Price increase

Is it normal that my price will increase £4 per month on my Full Works plan even though I am out of contract and my device is fully paid off. Surely it should increase only £1.50?

they are going to apply a 10% out of contract discount from next month which will offset it but this is only applied once not yearly right?

The £4 increase will be yearly.

Thing is I can’t upgrade as I have some excellent discounts on the plan meaning that I have a great deal!

I just wondered why £4 and not £1.50 if I’m out of contract and device is paid off?

thanks

Hi @haywards-db

The APR increase is on your contract term. If you don't have one of the new separate phone/tariff plans then the increase is based on the contract price you pay and will continue to pay until you change your plan to a SIM only plan or upgrade your phone/tariff.

If you need to know more about your specific contract price you'll need to speak to EE CS on 150.

Thanks

If you're out of contract it's still probably worth a call to sales to discuss what may be available for you.

@haywards-db : EE's traditional mobile contracts have no concept of paying off the handset. You agreed to pay the same price for the full duration of the total bundled contract. There will however be a 10% discount 3 months after the end of min. term. You may always choose to upgrade your contract to a cheaper SIM-Only contract from the last 30 days of your contract term.

@haywards-db  When you took this contract the price increase of that contract was CPI + 3.9% and that still remains on your contract.   It’s only after the 10th of April 2024 if you took out a contract would it be £1.50 on the airtime part of a flex tariff or sim only contract.
