I’ve checked on the ee store and the price for the iPhone 16 pro with the all rounder plan is
36 months contract
The device cost is 27 a month
The plan is £28 a month
Thats £55
When I took out a new contract October 2024
It says my plan is £56 a month for 24 months and flex pay £30 for 36 month
Also my contract in 2022 for the iPhone 14 Pro I was paying £100 a month for the iPhone 14 Pro and the all rounder plan.
for 2 years I was paying £100 a month
and now I’m paying £86 a month
yet on the ee store it’s only £55 a month for the iPhone 16 pro

Promotions pop up from time to time on certain devices, but ultimately if you were happy with and agreed to the terms at the time you took out the contract then any subsequent offers will be irrelevant. You also don't say what device you have.
If it is an iPhone 16 Pro, this device would have only just released around then, so that could have affected the pricing too.
Are you sure you haven't got any add-ons that you are paying for on your bill and is it an All Rounder plan you are on?
When looking on the store (as a new customer as I can not see Flex Pay Upgrade offers), currently the iPhone 16 Pro on an All Rounder plan on a 36 Month Minimum Term is showing as £26.38 Device Cost and £40 for the Plan, with £30 Upfront. That comes to £66.38, not £55.
Flex Pay is also a relatively new type of plan on EE and as such it cannot be compared directly to the older 24 Month bundled contracts as it allows for spreading the cost over a longer period and the customer is able to pay off the Device Cost whenever they like.
