@gakobek : Not if you set the Input Mode for texts as the UNICODE 16-bit alphabet.

I use Android, the option is Message Settings > Text Messages > Input mode. No idea about Apple, but in any case your phone should give an onscreen warning when the content of a message triggers a change from SMS > MMS - it's not a network function.

Crikey who still sends mms messages. You can buy an mms add-on if you need to use this service, or use one of the hundreds of data apps.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

- No signal all day in Roaming
- Port 'Completed' but texts showing as Temp number -Advice please in SIM cards & Porting
- Can't receive text messages in Mobile Services
- Charged for simple text message in Mobile Services
- I'm in Cyprus and cannot make calls back to the UK - message says calls barred in Roaming
