since last year I've been getting texts & calls asking for peter and its started to get on my nerves. I get texts by some blood center and now getting verification codes by mhbs! I have decided to post now before anything escalates any further.

Not much anyone can do about it if someone has given these senders the wrong no., yours. You could phone them all up & tell them it's a wrong no. or you can block them on your phone.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I get this really frequently because my number is 'memorable' it gets spoofed and then a load of people try and call me back!

Unfortunately aside from blocking the messages and calls (if your handset allows you to do so) all you can do is change your number.

If you call CS on 150 they'll be able to help with the changing of your number.

Thanks for trying to help but it won't work. These are non reply messages and the numbers that phone me are all different.... 🫤

If I do so, will I have to change my sim card?

@AlfieL  Are you on PAYG or a contract customer?    If you are on contract just request a new number and tell them why ie harassing phone calls/texts.
If you’re a PAYG customer just get a new sim and set up a new account.   Just deplete your current allowance and don’t top up to get a new pack.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I'm on payg but tbh even if I do change my sim, it'll be too much hassle. I'm only 13.
