Phone call abroad

I’ve switched my data plan to work abroad as I am living in Australia for a year, however my plan is not letting me make any calls, I have reset network connections and restarted phone

@Fayehooton   Did you enable roaming on your account?    When did you change your contact? Before or after you went to Australia? 

 Roaming is for short stays abroad up to 2 months after this time you could be charged for international calls.
