Having recently moved from BT to EE, which is obviously the same network.
My daughter is constantly complaining about the lack of signal / service in areas where she has never had an issue with BT.
She does her usual hang around with her mates after school, awaiting to be picked up, constantly no internet / data.
I too am having issues at my work with signal where problems never existed. My work phone on O2 has no issues in the same area. Two completely different phones (S23 Ultra,Iphone XR) with no apparent issues with the network in either location.
So how can this issue be present on the same network? Is routing prioritised based on SIM or tariff as we are on fully unlimited full speed. None of her friends at school on EE have this issue?

Is this a problem of no coverage being displayed? Or that you have problems using your phone when coverage is shown?
Being a different network, testing your work phone is of limited value. What's your basis for saying "no apparent issues with the network"? - is that based on the status webtool?

Problems when coverage is shown. No network issues reported in area by EE.
Basically only difference in known previously good area is a change from BT to EE networks.
Phone A S23 Ultra - No issues in that area historically now poor on EE
Phone B Iphone XR - Again no issues historically in area now poor on EE.
Two different phones both notably different experiences in data / web use in a frequently used area without issues with BT SIM
Work phone only mentioned as have found O2 to be very poor in terms of coverage, hence why opted to use BT then moved to EE

Are you using the same phones on EE, as you were when on BT? Or have you had new phones?
Is it only mobile data you have issues with? How about texts &/or voice calls?

Yes mate exactly the same phone, only different is the SIM card. Voice is fine, WhatsApp,Youtube and general web browsing are all affected. Probably TikTok knowing my teenager. Basically life's over lol

Hi @Croatoan
Thanks for coming to the community.
If you are experiencing problems in certain areas, you can report this on the Service Status Checker and the report will be sent to the network team to be looked into and they will keep you updated.
