I've been in a rural area of Republic of Ireland and despite having data roaming switched on and excess data available I've had no connectivity for the past 2 days.
I visit this area regularly??

Data roaming is just a device function that enables your phone to use data over a mobile network connection. You need to have a mobile network connection to an Irish network first - do you have this?
Have you used your phone on Irish networks in the past?
Are you able to try manually connecting to an alternative Irish network?

Hi
Yes connected to local network aswell and yes also have used the phone in rep of Ireland and find that if in city can use Internet via data allowance but this seems to be lost in more rural/village areas....
I have surplus data and using local network but connectivity is poor...
Thanks for any suggestions

Hi @maron_irl,
Did you try a manual network search to see if there is another local network available with better coverage in your location?
