I’m currently on holiday in Dubai and can’t connect to a local network. This has never happened previously when I’m abroad and I haven’t changed any of my settings.
when logging into my online account and checking my data controls. It states that both Roaming and making calls are blocked and when I try and change the settings to allow them. It get a message saying sorry we haven’t been able to make your changes.
I need someone at EE to update my account, but I can’t call the contact centre to do this as I can’t make any calls!!! I can’t find any web chat service either.

Hi there @JamesDean15
Thanks for coming here.
If this is showing as blocked, you would need to give us a call from another phone on +44 7953966250 and the team will be happy to help you get this activated.
Thanks.

I don’t have another phone. Can this not been done via email or web chat?
I’ve not asked for it to be blocked.
Thanks
James

Hi @JamesDean15
It means you need to pay a deposit to use EE roaming service.
Thanks

Hi there @JamesDean15
If you can log into your My EE account online, a chat option will show when an agent is available.
If you are unable to use chat or this is not showing, please use another phone to give our Mobile Care Team a call on +44 7953 966 250, when you can use another phone.
Leanne.

You could also try using a web-calling app such as Skype to call C/S using +448000798586 over a WiFi Internet connection.
