My samsung galaxy a12 answerphone outgoing message not working

To all,

 

I have a personal recorded outgoing greeting message that’s been verified by EE as in use as it plays that message & is saved. This should play when I can’t get to my mobile phone, then a caller can leave a message. As I understand, my service provider (EE) deals with this on the number: +447953222222. This number is in my phone under settings for voice mail & call forwarding. However, my phone keeps ringing with no outgoing message until the EE message states:-

 

“the number you have telephoned is not answering, please try again later”

 

Can anyone assist in getting this to work ?

To all,

It's now Friday & no contact from EE Technical Services or customer services from my e-mail sent Monday confirming their EE setting adjustment hasn't worked. 😞

 

I'm therefore going into EE-shop today as originally planned to see if they can fix this issue. 🤔

It's now Friday afternoon & my visit to the EE-shop today did not fix this issue. They looked at my phone & checked all the obvious settings & tried the text VM ON/OFF as I've done many times, but to no avail. They also looked at my contract to check the voicemail was part of the service I'm paying for & confirmed this to be so !

 

They noted to me that EE Technical Services had more in depth ability to look further into this issue than they had in-shop & advised I should get back in touch with them. No offer was made to me in-shop that they would contact EE Technical Services while I was there to resolve this issue for me.

 

The first e-mail I sent to EE about this issue was dated Wednesday 20th July 2022. I'll therefore send another follow up e-mail to them & also try to telephone them direct.

 

In summary, this issue is now taking far too long for EE to resolve with no reply to my e-mail sent to them this Monday 25th July 2022. They've acknowledged my e-mail as I had a read recipient reply & a short e-mail back from EE on the same day stating the below:-

 

"Hi from EE.
Thank you for your email.
Our specialist team aim to respond to you as soon as possible.

Thanks EE"

 

I'll keep updating this Post until I get this issue resolved (hopefully..😣).
