Hi, I've been with ee for a few years and I'm attempting to move my son's o2 number over to ee. I've got the new ee account for him and requested the port when ordering, included the PAC.
Both ee accounts are managed by me. The issue I have is that I'm trying to do this remotely as my son is at University and it doesn't seem to have worked - I'm sure it is user error though! I sent him a screenshot of the QR code to get his eSim (o2 is a physical sim) and he scanned it and says it loaded on to his phone. However, this was four days ago and he's not received any communication on either old number or new temporary ee number regarding porting his old number.
As I'm doing this remotely, is there anything crucial he needs to do to activate the sim? Does he need to make an outgoing call using the temporary number to get it working?
Thanks!

OK - ended up speaking to CS and it turns out the port wasn't requested, even though their email confirming the order had the PAC code included. Fingers crossed should be sorted tomorrow.
