Living in NZ for 6 months and my SIM has suddenly stopped working

I have been living in New Zealand temporarily since October and  using my EE SIM from Uk, Paying the additional £25 on my bill. However, all of a sudden today my phone is not recognising my SIM. It isn’t working in another unlocked phone either so has to be the SIM. What can I do when I’m here for another 3 months and contacting EE TECHNICAL TEAM with the time difference and no SIM  is a challenge.

I know this happened to my sister in the UK nad she had to go to an ee store for a replacement but that’s not an option for me-

Thanks

EE's roaming facilities are intended for UK residents making short trips abroad, not long-term foreign residents. To this end, the Stable Links Policy broadly requires your phone to be used in the UK 2 months in every 4.

My understanding is that they should make contact before any action is taken, though.

The other possibility is an issue with the Kiwi networks preventing you connecting - normally this can be resolved by toggling flight mode or manually selecting an alternative operator.

You may need to contact EE CS to rectify this - either calling +44 7953 966150 from another phone, or +44 800 0798586 from a web-calling app such as Skype, over WiFi.

Thanks. I successfully used the same service last winter in Australia with no issues, I will contact ee, thanks.
