I wanted to text shout services tonight but I was worried it was going to charge me as when I went to send the message it gave me warning that charges would occur if I sent the message? I thought it was free so I want to check that true before sending a message as my parent pays for my contract. Please let me know as soon as possible as I really need the service. Thankyou.

What is Shout Services? If it's what I think it is with a 5-digit shortcode, it is free to text.

So even though it says there could be charges it is still free?? Are you sure?? I really can't have it charging my contract. Thankyou for trying to help me

They have to say "could" cuz Shout doesn't know what every network charges each of its users.
EE includes such texts in your text allowance, but even if it didn't the most you could be charged is for a text is 17p.

Hello,
Is it still free? I tried tonight and got a message saying it 'would' incur a charge.
