Sim card

I have recieved a new sim card and put it in my phone. Did not realise that old sim was needed to activate this. Old sim car dcame out quite quick when taking out and is now lost. How do i activate this

Voicemail dusabled?

I've recently had a prompt to restart my phone due to updates from EE and now my voicemail isn't working. I've checked my settings and they seem to be OK. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
