I am in the us and my phone won’t make and receives calls I am able to use whats

Before leaving the UK did you activate roaming by texting ROAMING to 150?

Did you receive a welcome text message when you arrived in the United States?

No I did not organise roaming
And no I did not get a welcome text when arriving in the us

However I did get one a few weeks ago when I visited another country

I also have bought a new phone in the usa and was wondering if that has something to do with it.

I bought it from Apple and their phone are unlocked

Are you using a physical SIM or an eSIM? Once roaming is activated on a given SIM, it remains so unless you explicitly request it's removed.

Thank you I have sorted it
My plan was on capped and I had used it up to the Capp

They increased the cap and I was able to make and recôve phone
