So. I have been calling EE and asking for the PIN to enable and disable call barring on my P30 Pro for 5 months.
Initially they told me I have to get it from Huawei. I called Huawei and they told me this is not true and that it is set by your phone service provider. EE then over the last 5 months have given me maybe 10 different pins to try.. and then all kinds of keypad entered MMI codes and USSD codes to try again all failed.
How on earth does one. enable any kind of call barring on these phones if every code provided does not work?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi Katie..
These are the codes I've been by EE so far:
Call barring PIN codes:
00000
0000
12345
11111
1111
4377
1919
MMI and USSD codes entered on phone keypad:
*261#
*#261#
#261#
*35*000#
*342#
*343#
*344#
*345#
*347#
Not a single one worked. I am completely locked out of the entire call barring management section of my own device by EE.
And I know it's EE because with every other single provider I have used with this handset I never had a single issue using call barring and switching whatever option in it on and off as and when I required.

Did you not bother to read my post?
What do you mean your technical support team?, it's your technical support team that over the last 5 months in over a dozen phone calls that gave me all the different pins and codes listed above and none of them worked.
Are your advice is for me contact this same technical support team?
Is that a joke?
Because of this huge failing on the part of EE I am now liberated from any obligation to my contract am free to cancel at any time if this is the kind of messed up non-support I am provided.

This has nothing to do with my account.. this is simply generic standard behaviour of EE locking EE customers handsets on your network and then being clueless on how to unlock then again but instead just feeding out endless random and useless codes that do not work while remaining clueless on how to unlock them again. It has nothing whatsoever to do with any particular customers unique account details.
Feel free to make a complaint? I have been complaining about this countless time already to EE over 5 months at the very start of my contract (something again I stated in my original post that you chose to ignore) and still I am waiting for them to unlock not one but TWO separate phone hand sets 5 months in.
I maybe now forced to spend yet another £1,200 on 3rd phone just to get my call barring options to work. I can assure you I will NOT be putting any EE sims into that one.
Thanks for forcing me into looking for a new provider.
