Hello,
I would be grateful for some advice.
I'm not very technical.
I am with Lebara who use the ee network, I understand.
I have a Realme Pro phone which has up-to-date software.
I am staying in an area with virtually no mobile signal, but I have access to very good WiFi.
The owners of the campsite say everyone uses WiFi calling, but I cannot find how to activate this on my phone. I have followed all the instructions to set this up, but the option to switch on WiFi calling does not appear on my phone. I cannot call Lebara to ask for help because I have no signal and their live chat option is not working.
What do I do, please?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Thanks Bristolian, problem solved.
I followed the link and used the Lebara Chat service which was working this morning and they have resolved the matter.
It seems I DO have WiFi calling but the number I tried to call doesn't. So the problem was theirs, not mine.
It just so happens that on my phone, there is no actual option to activate WiFi calling - it's done automatically by Lebara for any customer with a compatible phone.
Thanks again.

Hi @brissle
The service is only available to EE customers with compatible handsets.
Thanks

Ah, OK it must be my misunderstanding - the Lebara website implies that I can have WiFi calling.

Hi @brissle
If your phone isn't compatible it won't work.
If you have followed the instructions and it doesn't work then it's your account or device.
Thanks

Lebara are an MVNO who use Vodafone for radio coverage, but offer their own products & services.
Irrespective of whether VF or EE provide their coverage, it is Lebara who are your customer-service point of contact, not the host operator.
https://www.lebara.co.uk/en/help/contact-us.html should be your next point of contact.

The person at the other end doesn't need to be on WiFi Calling for you to use WiFi Calling. They just need a signal 1 way or another.
