HELP WITH MOBILE PLAN ACTIVE ADD-ON

MPKP
Explorer

My mobile plan has 4 Active Add-Ons . One of these plans states "£2.29 per day for EU Roaming. This add-on cannot be removed ".

I am now on holiday in Germany thinking I can roam like home but find extra charges on my Sept bill of £2.29 for the days I've been here.

Help what action do I take .....should I buy the £15 monthly pass and will that stop the daily £2.29 charge as I will be here for another 4 weeks.

Spent hours trying to speak with a EE person to no avail.

Yes, buy the Roam Abroad Pass for £15 per billing month & it will replace the £2.29 daily charge. Please note that if your billing date falls during the time you are there you will be paying 2 x £15. Do the maths.

Thanks for swift reply ....could you tell me why I'm being charged the £2.29 roaming when it's shown as a currently active add -on . It was agreed when I moved from BT to EE in June 2023 that free roaming was included in my plan.

Thanks

The always active £2.29 add-on is free of itself & gives you the right to roam in the EU at a cost of £2.29 for each day you use any of your UK allowances in the EU.
