Can anyone advise me on what to do about keeping my ee uk number. Because if it is not used after 1 month I believe it will be switched off, or I may lose it.

You have up to around 6 Months before a PAYG Number goes into Hibernation.
So if your on PAYG just make sure you've made a Chargeable Cost before your Trip and you should be fine for a Month.

Hi there @Or3
Thanks for coming here.
If you have a pay as you go account, to keep the number active you can complete any of the below chargeable activities, the number would go into hibernation after 179 days of no use.
Chargeable activities include:
- Voice and data usage. This includes making calls, sending text messages and picture messages, retrieving a voicemail, and using data that is not within your pack or add-on.
- Topping up your account.
- Buying a pack or an add-on.
Calls, texts and data usage made using your allowance from your pack do not count towards a chargeable activity.
Any of the chargeable activities can be made in the UK and abroad to keep the account active.
Leanne
