EU ROAMING & £10 all day tariff

Hi,

I am currently sitting in Greece, we have 3 SIM cards with EE on a business contract and have tried numerous times to activate roaming using the pay £2 per day to use allowance as normal on two numbers and on the third number, add £10 on bolt on to use allowance as normal.

It is incredibly difficult to manage all of this and near impossible on the app or the text message service. Nothing is user friendly and very little detail and information is given in relation to these services.

we desperately need help asap!

How do you pay for the £10 a month. I think I paid for it via texting but the app doesn’t help, the text message service isn’t user friendly in terms of the information they give. It’s all hazy and unforgivably difficult.

Hi @JR891

Try giving EE CS on 150 and they will be able to assist if you are having issues with the app/online service.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 10.30pm every day.

@JR891 , it is now 15£ a month, as it has gone up recently. If you ring customer service, they can add that for you, and if you cannot ring 150 to speak to customer service, there is a free number you can ring, if you look at @Northerner signature, you can also ring them using something like Skype for the free number.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

What is the £10 add-on called?

Are you on contract or PAYG? Did you use that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad?

If you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c.

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto. Otherwise you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
