@Galini : If you need data while abroad you do need to enable data roaming on your device. Did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c.
As you've bought the Roam Abroad Pass you wont be paying the £2 per day. It's instead of, not as well as.
