EE WiFi Auto London Underground won't automatically login

I have saved the EE Wi-Fi Auti for the London Underground as a network, I have the SIM setup as the login, but every time the train pulls into a station I have to manually select EE Wi-Fi Auto and connect. When it first connects it says internet not available and then there is a ! by the signal icon and it says connected internet not available. Then it connects, usually as the train is pulling out of the station. My partner does not have any of this problem with her phone, it is a pixel 5. Mine is a pixel 6 pro, both on the most recent version of Android, and both seem to have all the same settings. Mine is on auto connect, and is set up exactly as per the instructions on the EE website. Any ideas why it won't just auto connect?

I have 16.4 still no luck

I have noticed that ee isn’t on “my networks” only known networks but can’t seem to make it mine!

I am surprised how often EE mods comment here asking us to contact technical support, when even the briefest scan of the thread could tell you that is not a fruitful endeavour

I am advised to contact me when I cannot connect to WIFI, how does that make sense if you  cannot access the network to even call them .

Hi @Bear3072

Please contact us once you have signal, and the team will get this investigated and raise a support ticket if needed.

Leanne.

Hi Leanne. I’ve been experiencing the same issue as al the above users. For a very long time.
Please can you tell us what EE are doing to fix this problem for all affected users across all devices?
Do not advise me to call EE to discuss this issue. It is obviously a systemic problem.

Hi @AMB9989

Welcome to the community.

If you speak to our Mobile Care team, they'll be able to check your account to make sure everything is set up correctly. If you're still having problems, they'll be able to raise a ticket with our technical support team.
