Data roaming

Hello I'm in turkey at the mi it's and set up data roaming before I left I have no signal and. Any make calls I don't have data roaming option in my setting iPhone 15 pro max  can anyone help please

Have you tried manually connecting to a different available network? When you say you set up data roaming, was that the option in your phone settings or through EE?

@Sherry73 : Data roaming is not the issue nor is the settings on your phone. You need roaming in general to be enabled on your EE a/c.

Are you on contract or PAYG? Had you used that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad?

If you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c. Having roaming activated on your EE a/c, not just on your device, is crucial to using your contract SIM abroad.

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.

Otherwise you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

Data roaming simply means using mobile data whilst roaming. To extend the logic, there's no phone setting for voice-call roaming or text-message roaming - as mentioned already, the crucial setting is at account/SIM-level and is "roaming".

This enables access to foreign networks, thus allows your phone to get coverage abroad - which unlocks the ability to roam. be that data roaming, text-roaming or voice-roaming.
