Hi, im having the same issue - one phone works and the other intermittently. (The only fix is to turn the phone on and off a few times)
did you manage to fix this or have any tips?

Your post is in a new thread, thus "having the same issue" doesn't have any context.
Can you explain the problem you're having? Are you able to make voice calls in the US? Have you tried using alternative local networks?

Hey @marcwatson12, thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community.
So we can make sure you're getting the most up to date details this comment has been split out into its own separate thread, but we definitely want to make sure you get this checked out.
I can see you've mentioned one phone is fine, whilst another loses connection intermittently?
@bristolian's suggestion is a great place to start, as it can help us understand if this is down to the local connection, or something on your account.

I paid the £25 roam further pass. At first The voice call didn’t work at all, I rang ee and they turned off my spending cap. Which fixed the issue for a few days.
however the same thing happed not able to receive or make calls - when I have full service bars and 4g.
also the data works sometimes and other times it’s just stuck loading.
yet I have another number with ee and set up roam further and that works no issues what so ever.
so I have paid for a service and not been able to sue the facilities properly.
do you have any tips to fix this - as trying to contact my wife is sometimes impossible without being connected to wifi.

Thanks for explaining all of that @marcwatson12.
Which network are you showing as connected to at the moment, and what model of phone are you using?
Sometimes connectivity can depend on the local network.

Hi @Peter_W the network is automatically selected by EE, but is current t-mobile.
like I said earlier I swapped the SIM card from one iPhone to the other and the issue is still there.
Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for confirming that, @marcwatson12.
When you're abroad, sometimes different local networks will work better depending on where you are.
If you go to Settings > Mobile Service > Network Selection, then disable 'automatic' it will start searching for available networks.
It's worth giving both AT&T and Verizon a try, and if you find one of these gives a better experience, re-enable automatic selection from there.
Peter 😊
