Charges in Australia

HantsYellow

Hi

We are going to Australia in two weeks for a special holiday.  I understand that we can buy a roaming data pass so that we can use our allowances to contact people back in the UK, but how will it work if we can contacting someone on an Australian mobile while we are there? How much would it be to text an Australian number whilst on an Australian network?  We don't want to run up a huge bill!

Thanks

Hi @HantsYellow

Welcome to the community.

The Roam Abroad Pass would allow you to use your normal allowances make calls to mobiles and landlines of the country that you're in, in this case, Australia.

If you have a plan with Inclusive Extras, you can choose the Roam Abroad Pass, or add it as a chargeable extra.

Make sure you text ROAMING to 150 to make sure you're set up for international roaming before you go.

Have an amazing time. 🙂

Chris
