Charges for texts with emoji’s, photos on EE essentials?

Hi, I’ve just signed up for an EE essentials plan. I noticed it says you may be charged for texts with emojis, photos, pictures or group texts. Is this true? And if so does it happen if you’re using iMessage? I use these a lot so may need to cancel the sim if so

@BVCR : Yes, it costs 83p per MMS but only when you adding any of them to normal texts. It does not apply to data messaging like iMessage.

Usage of apps such as iMessage, WhatsApp, Messenger & suchlike, are charged as data usage - depending whether your phone is using the mobile network or a WiFi connection.
