Cant make or receive calls in CHINA

Hello! I'm currently in Shenzen, CHINA. Before leaving i called EE and informed them of my trip and added a "world passport" that would give me unlimited calls, text messages and 1gb of data per day. Before travelling to China, i was in Dubai UAE for 4 days and everything seemed to be fine as i could make calls. However, since entering China, i have been unable to make any outgoing calls. I am unable to contact EE on the abroad number +447953966250 from my device. When i text 150 regarding my world pass, it says it hasnt been activated. I am unable to register on the my EE app as it says it only allows "small businesses" . Im stuck as im not able to call EE to fix this issue. Please help!

If you've used your phone in Dubai , this proves the roaming facility is active.

If you have issues in another country, try toggling flight mode and also manually select a different local network.

Be careful to not confuse your billing add-on with the roaming facility - the latter enables a foreign network connection, the former just manages the costs of doing so.
