Hi, I am trying to contact EE via phone to cancel my contract, which is due to end 29/10/22. The line has been disconnected several times so I cannot get through. I am calling from the USA and wish to cancel my contract because I know longer require it. I also do not have a working phone for my UK number. Please can someone assist and let me know how I reach EE to cancel my contract. Thanks

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

Thanks but i dont use Skype. The number you provided - +44 800...is the same number that keeps disconnecting.

But at a pinch you could get it if you really wanted to. As it's using the Net rather than phone lines it could well be more reliable.

Are you trying to dial the number without a space after +44?
Numbers won't connect with spaces in.

Thanks Jon, but the number is working and I am on hold, often for 20 plus minutes, but then the line disconnects. This has happened 6 times now. Is there any other way to communicate to have my contract cancelled please? Is skype the only video chat service you use? Thanks,

The only way to cancel a line is to call us.
Are you able to try another time that may be less busy?

I will keep trying but to just be disconnected several times is very bad customer service, no matter how busy EE are. I don't mind waiting, but being disconnected is not acceptable.
