Calling from Nepal

I asked EE on the phone to enable international calling 3 days ago and it’s not been done. I also paid for a calling from abroad service. Now I’m here nothing working!! As I can’t text 150 how can I contact Ee who have really let me down.

From your description, all you have done is choose billing add-ons - these reduce the cost of roaming.

You also need to enable roaming itself, this allows access to foreign networks and without which - the symptoms you describe, are the result. This is normally done by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK. Did you do this?

Good idea except having downloaded Skype a txt is needed to verify which I can’t receive.

I called EE and the guy said he’d done it. Obviously he didn’t. That’s the problem. I can’t do it now.

@MikeTate   If you asked for international calling to be enabled I have a feeling what’s been done is the call abroad and premium rate numbers have been enabled.  This allows you to call international and premium rate numbers when in the UK, and roaming hasn’t been enabled because you need to ask for roaming to be enabled these are not the same thing.
