They're on your phone, probably in the Phone app.

I have deleted them. I need to retrieve a number I have lost.

Then you lost them As I'm guessing you don't pay for itemise billing.
Without that you won't see any number inside your allowance on your bill.
You can't activate it now as it won't show anything before you activate it so be pointless to start paying for it now to find s number

Depending how long ago this call was, and whether it was received or made, you could use the Subject Access Request process. It can take a month.
If you didn't have itemized billing active at the time, this will be your only option.
