Answer phone notifications showing but no voicemail

I have the voicemail notification showing on top left corner but no voice mail how do I get rid of this?

Get somebody to send you a VM, listen to it & then delete it. See if that clears it.

Is there any old voicemails in your inbox? if yes, have you tried deleting any voicemails that aren't needed?

Yes I have done that , I have also turned my phone on and off several times and still not gone
