Hi I have an add on to use my allowances in Australia but now I am here it isn’t working without having data roaming on - is data roaming an extra charge or how do I go about getting this to work? Than

@Hcon  did you enable roaming on your EE account before you left the UK this is done by calling customer services or text ROAM to 150.  Purchasing add ons doesn’t enable roaming it’s just an add-on.  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Data roaming just means using mobile data whilst roaming, just like voice-roaming could mean making calls whilst roaming & text-roaming could mean sending texts whilst roaming.

Can you explain how your roaming services are not working? Does your phone show a connection to any Australian networks? Did you receive a welcome text message on arrival?
