I have a Samsung Galaxy 8. Sim 1 is EE and another country sim is in slot 2. EE is set as default for calls, texts and data. Both sims were working fine for 5 years. Several days ago sim2 stopped working. And it isn't recognised anymore.
What do you think?
Thank you,
Elena

Hey! Please do try these following steps!
- Restart the Phone: Often resolves temporary glitches.
- Reinsert the SIM Card: Ensure it's properly seated in the tray.
- Clean the SIM Card: Gently wipe with a soft cloth.
- Try SIM in Another Phone: To check if the issue is with the SIM or the phone.
- Check for Software Updates: Update the phone if needed.
- Reset Network Settings: Note that this will erase saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections

I have tried everything you recommended. Nothing helps.
Sim 2 is Russian Vimpelcom (Beeline). Can it be under sanctions in the UK?
Thank you,
Elena

Possibly to be honest, I can't say for sure though!
Apologies!

Hi @elenatoo,
Have you contacted your network provider to see if your SIM is still active and has roaming services activated?

Yes, I contacted the VimpelCom (Beeline) Russia provider. My Russian sim is active and the roaming services for it are activated.
