BT mobile iphone signal down all day - checked various outtage sites - no reports of any problems in my area ....after tediously going through pages and pages of BT website it finally tells me to check signal outage via EE site 'as BT mobile is now EE' ... so go to EE website ... go through all the palaver again ... and it tells me now that my sim is not a valid EE number ... are you having a laff ... get your websites talking to each other, fixed and working properly .... so eventually phoned BT technical helpdesk on a friends phone and after asking me everything apart from what I had for breakfast ... I'm finally told that they are installing new fibre today so MAST IS SWITCHED OFF !!!! could you not maybe have told people that work was happening today ... fortunately I am not in any EMERGENCY situation like being stuck on a minor country road with children when my car breaks down !!!!!!!!!!!! NOT IMPRESSED ... no idea when my line will be back on

The EE status checker doesn't need a mobile number to do a "check status".

EE customers can register upto 5 locations for proactive updates on network issues - this would provide the facilities you're suggesting.

Yes in does it asked me to complete a form with full details of the problem

It sounds like you've run a status enquiry without needing your mobile number as advised above.

Trying to report a fault does indeed require you to be an EE user, and this is intentional. If you're not an EE customer, you should report your service issues to your provider. From your description, BT Mobile would have helped you with this.

I am both an ee and bt customer and I have reported the website probs to
both ... There is still no resolution to the problem with my BT mobile
having no service fo calls or texts
