Where are you? Are you abroad or in the UK? Are you on pay as you gol or contract? If on pay as you go, did you first use your SIM card in the UK, if on contract did you activate roaming on your account?

If in the UK, have you activated your SIM card and if on pay as you go, do you have credit on your account to use the service?
