Wi-Fi stops overnight

I’ve had a SIM card for just 3 days. During day in phone or mi fi device I get Wi-Fi but no internet at all. In evening around 4.00pm it starts working in both devices and works up until at least midnight , perfectly. The next morning it won’t work at all again until evening. Any idea what the issue can be. Spoken to EE but during day and suggestion is could be devices issue. This was before I realised starts working each evening. Any ideas as to what problem can be.

Are you able to try the SIM in another device through the day to see if you can use data? 

Have you checked for any network issues that may have been reported on the Service Status Checker

Potentially network congestion due to the specific times it happens. @Leanne_T 's suggestion would help confirm this as it would still happen with the sim in another device

Thanks for replies. I tried in mobile exactly same issue. Been trying to check local issues but not working. Has said unable to  check at the moment try later. Been trying for 3 days. Looks like my move to EE a mistake.

If you get back in touch with our technical support guides, they can get the area looked into and see if there is anything that could be causing this for you.

I have tried this twice and assured nothing wrong in area and that must be a fault with my devices. This is despite all devices working after 4.00pm each day on the EE network and stopping again during night.Has just started working again today! Also all devices working during day on a different network.

If you could try calling again and letting the team know the problem is happening in another device, they can follow further troubleshooting to get this looked into for you.

I’ve decided not to put myself through another lengthy call. I’m experimenting suitability for use in my motorhome in the summer. EE not suitable. I’m trying other sources. If one works I’ll go ahead , if none suitable so be it.

Addendum: despite no access my data usage has increased since stopped working last night! 
for 4th day been unable to check network on app.
