Why is my signal so rubbish when there are no problems on the postcode

The signal checker shows no problems in the areas I've checked but my signal is still rubbish. Should be good signal inside and out but most of the time I have no signal inside and barely anything outside, mobile data is pretty much useless, why has the coverage got so bad over the last 2 years? When I changed to EE I could use my phone everywhere I went, nowI'm really struggling .

Hi @sammiefritchley

Welcome to the community.

When you searched for issues in your area on the coverage checker, and it didn't find any, it should have given you the option to report a problem. If you follow that option, our network team will be able to look into the performance of the network in your area.

@sammiefritchley   If this is everywhere you go then the issue is probably with the device not the network.   What device is it ?

Differences in indicated coverage are not necessarily an issue unless they cause problems with use of your phone - is this so?

Sudden "step changes" in coverage can often be attributed to a fault scenario which should be visible via the "check status" option. Gradual changes over time may be due to optimisation activity which are intended to produce a better overall experience. I'm not sure from your post, which scenario you're reporting.
