Upto the point I picked up the booster signal outside the EE shop - the signal would not drive Google Maps nor enable me to download my theatre tickets.
The staff is the shop said the "EE mast" had been down for months and there was no date for the absence of signal to be rectified.
On days like that I wish I'd paid the small premium to be with another network.
It would have catastrophic being unable to download my tickets - it was only good fortune we stumbled upon the shop and could do our downloads in there.

There are many complaints on this forum that crop up frequently, but this is a new one! EE is usually accused of being the most expensive.

Hi @mrjohnohagan,
Welcome to the Community!
We know how important it is for you to be able to stay connected, so I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've had recently. We do work to provide the very best connection we can, ut sometimes things do go wrong with masts, and some issues can take longer than we would hope to get resolved.
Our Network Checker will let you know if there is work being carried out in any area, and you can set updates to be kept aware of anything else that might happen in places you go to frequently.
