@oluseyiojo  Did you text ROAMING to 150 before your left the UK ?  Purchasing add-ons doesn’t enable roaming.   Enable roaming on your phone doesn’t enable roaming on your EE account it just allows your device to use data when abroad provided you have enabled roaming on your EE account by texting roaming to 150.

have you tried manually selecting a different network?
Have you tried just restarting the device?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi Chris,

thank you for the message, No I did not text Roaming to 150 before leaving the UK because the EE agent i spoke over to the phone told me that the roaming is automatically added onto the account that i just need turn turn ON and OFF the phone to initiate the roaming.

I have tried adding the network manually because the phone is not recognizing or picking up any of the Dubai carrier network.

I have restarted the phone multiple times.

Please what can I do to solve this problem?

As you are on contract you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
