Very Poor Signal - Aberdeen AB25

My iPhone 11 keeps cutting off and breaking up during conversation. Background hiss. People say that conversation is hard for them to hear. Very annoying. This isn’t a one-off thing, it’s been happening on and off for a long time. Down to two bar, sometimes one! Can it be fixed? Thank you.

How long is "a long time" - can you quantify this?

Does 4G-calling show onscreen when calls drop?

Hello Bristolian

Sorry but I’m not very tech savvy. Its been like this on and off for about a 1.5 years! I kind of manage to put up with it, (it does sometimes work ok) then it just tips me over the edge when it cuts out. Sometimes it says ‘Call failed’, other times it just drops the call. Or the person I’m speaking to just can’t make out what I’m saying. 

4G-calling does not show on the screen. 
Just now it has 2 bars and shows 3 Wi-Fi curved bars.

Sorry but I’m not very tech savvy.
At present it still says  “MyPlace update: It's taking longer than expected to fix the problem near …” , (I first checked on Friday) but surely they would have fixed it by now? I have had this problem on and off for about 1.5 years. 

I have restarted my device several times with no change.
