Turning on Hotspot reduces Internet Speed by factor 10

Hi,

I am getting 50MB download on 4g in my flat.  When I turn on the hotspot to link my computer the speed test drops to 5Mb (computer not accessing the internet) and then my computer shows an even lower speed test.  Is there anything that can cause this?

Note:  I have an unlimited contract and using a Samsung Note 10 phone

Yes, all the time.

I  borrowing another phone tonight to check hardware.  Also someone else's ee unlimited SIM to see if any of that makes a difference.

How are you testing these speeds?

Tested other phones with the same SIM and these all work as expected.  So it looks like a problem with the Note 10.

All tested using the Speedtest app
