Terrible signal

Over the last couple of weeks my signal is shocking 1 bar at most I get cut off most conversations after about 20/30,seconds and when I am connected the quality is poor people say they can’t hear me or I’m breaking up if this continues I’ll be leaving EE, I don’t see the point of paying for a connection when I can’t use it at home.

Does this only happen whilst you are at home?

If yes, have you been able to check for any known problems using the Coverage Checker?

There's nothing inherently wrong with "a bar at most", it's the effect on service that's concerning. Use the "check service status" option on the coverage tool in the first instance, and compare with other EE users otherwise.

You can always use WiFi-calling anytime you have indoor coverage issues for whatever reason - it allows full use of your phone without needing any mobile service.
