Hi, did anyone notice their WiFi calling constantly failing? Nearly every time I call or someone call me the WiFi calling fails and moves to normal signal. So normally my status bar says EE WiFi call but when I get a call it goes back to EE and call is bad due to bad signal where I live. I have tried nearly everything like turning it off and back on or even restoring my phone to factory settings (iPhone 16 pro max). It is getting really frustrating!

WiFi-calling normally defaults to "network preferred" i.e. use the mobile network if radio conditions are usable.
Try enabling flight mode to disable your phone's mobile radios, and enable WiFi independently. Does WiFi-calling work now?

Hi it always show as ‘connected’ in the status bar. It always say EE WiFi Call as the current network. The issue starts when someone calls me - it revert back to 5G network which is bad in my area. My WiFi is not the issue as it’s close and strong so I am baffled as to why this is happening.

It works or looks like it is but it’s only when someone calls me it fails and no even after I did this and someone called me WiFi calling dropped back to standard 5G.

Hi @qucharsky
Please give our Customer Service team a call on 150 where a guide from the technical team can investigate why this happens on incoming calls and refresh your WIFI calling service for you.

I would try turning WiFi assist off and having someone call you then to check if it drops back to 5g.
Look under Settings - Mobile Service - WiFi assist
