Hi EE team,
We are experiencing an issue very similar to the one described in this post: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Data/Re-URGENT-EE-Content-Control-Whitelist-our-website-domain/...
I am part of the technical team at CabCard Services (https://cabcard.services) a payment service provider for taxi drivers and taxi fleets in the UK. One of our services allows customers to request payment via SMS. We have observed that since approximately 18th August 2025, EE has been rejecting these SMS messages, causing them not to be delivered to taxi passengers who wish to pay for their journey.
The SMS messages all include a link using our branded short domain: "cab.link" (for example https://cab.link/cc-go)
This issue is not experienced with any other carriers. We suspect that EE may have placed our branded short domain on a blacklist for some reason, causing the messages to be undelivered.
Please could we request information on how to resolve this? Thank you.

Hello @ccs_chris ,
Welcome to the community,
I have just clicked on the link, and it has come up ok for me, although I have not installed the app, as I have no use for it.

Hi @ccs_chris
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
I'd like to pass this onto our team to investigate further why the SMS are not going through as expected so I'll send you private message for some further information.
Please check your inbox and get back to me when you can.
Thanks
Ali

Hi @Schockwave I'm grateful for your reply - and thanks for clicking the link.
However please note, the issue we are experiencing here is that when links such as that one are sent via SMS from our system to an EE customer, it appears that EE is rejecting the message and the SMS is not delivered.
Apologies if this was not clear from my post. Does that help to clarify?

It is unusual, if not unheard of, for purely textual SMS such as this to be bounced.
