Hi @Steve_BT

We are having the exact same issue!

Our company AirPay (www.air-pay.co.uk) is also being blocked by your filters. We operate a payment solution for taxi journeys in the uk and soon europe to the largest fleets in the industry. We offer the seamless payment for journeys by sending payment links over sms but EE have started blocking the url and its causing lots of issues and complaints.

The url the customer would receive would be https://pay.air-pay.co.uk/{code}

How do we get it unblocked?

Thanks

Scott

Dear EE Team,

We are pay by link (SMS) payment company for Private Hire & Taxi companies in the UK and our customers on EE/BT are not receiving their personalised links to pay for their journey.

Our company air-pay.co.uk, works with fleets such as Veezu, Alpha Taxis & Skyline who rely on Airpay to manage their pay by link payments.  Please could you white list our URL so that we can continue providing this service - an example URL would be - https://pay.air-pay.co.uk{code}
We have confirmed, all other customers from different geographic locations and other networks are able to receive the SMS.

Evidently there is some blocking that is happening at the EE network level.

We request you to kindly whitelist our domains so that we can continue running our business and providing this service to our customers.

Many thanks

Craig

Morning @scott_airpay @craigpollock007

Thanks for coming to the community.

We have tested this on a few EE devices using mobile data and the website does load.

What happens when customer's are accessing the link? Could they try again and see if it works?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Hi Leanne

we are not part of storylane we just found this thread where they had the same issue we are currently having. Our domain is being blocked by EE. The url being blacked is https://pay.air-pay.co.uk/

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Hi @scott_airpay

Thanks for coming back to me.

The post has been moved to a new thread.

Could you get the customers to try again as we have tested this today and the link is working using EE mobile data?

Leanne.

Hi Leanne

the issue is that the customer can’t receive the link at all?

we send the customer the link via sms but your spam filter is blocking the sms if our url is in the message

so to confirm we create an sms with a payment link with the url https://pay.air-pay.co.uk but the customer never receives the sms because your spam filter is stopping the sms being delivered to the customer on EE

Thanks

I see, thanks for the extra details @scott_airpay

Do you have the number the texts are sent from? If this is the text not being received, how many EE customers have reported this?

Leanne.

We are sending branded SMS via Amazon or Vonage. The messages are being sent as transactional messages too which should indicate they are not marketing but they have still been blocked

i also tried sending from my own number to an EE number and it still won’t be delivered so your systems are just blocking the url completely.

Vonage stats show today the 416 attempts to send to EE was rejected, all other networks delivered correctly.

i think our domain needs whitelisting in your anti spam systems
