Re: Temporary Mobile Network Boosters

Hi, can you help please.

I am part of an event team preparing for a green field event next May 18th on the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire border.

We will need good data service for POS and ticketing and services on site.

I have run tests at the location, post code HP23 6LD, not great, EE are the supplier for the emergency 4g service roll out, will the area benifit?

What temporary solutions will EE be able to supply, what cost if nothing planned

I know all the main networks provide for festivals etc as I recently left this type of industry.

Would really wish for a conversation about this asap please

ESN rollout is separate from the temp sites deployed for major events.

I'm not sure what EE's specific criteria are for individual event support, but I suspect that some factors are likely to be - existing network coverage/capacity, size of the event and prospective visitor numbers weighed off against time to deploy the temp-solution, and some other technical requirements related to the equipment install.

What size of event are you hosting, and what is the duration?

Hi and thanks for being so prompt, ESN is on the 4G platform still being rolled out but if this area is to be enhance for ESN the that may resolve the issue. 4G/5G coverage at location is minimal, barely usable at this time.

This is a one day event, expecting up to 5000 public across the day. Centenary of Aston Clinton Hill Climb with historic and vintage cars/bikes. Multiple trade and consession stands which will rely on network for payments

Would need to have coverage set up and tested a couple of days before.
