I’ve just placed an order for a new phone, the question is this, do EE have a Network checker app like O2 do, so that if I have a weak or no signal I can check via the app where’s there a fault with the mobile  network.

You can check EE's Network Coverage and Report issues Check Mobile Coverage

I don't think EE has an App for their Network Coverage.

The MyEE app does have an option for logging poor coverage, it's not very well publicised though.

It's under the settings menu, Settings & Permissions > App Settings
