Re: Coverage Checker not accurate, infact a bit of a lie!?

Yes, they lie, there is no indoor 4g service for anyone on ee in my local area of south Manchester. Many  people report it to ee but their response it always the same, they claim the service is excellent.
I’m sick of them.
After many years,  think I have no choice but to leave them

Hey there @P1fantastic.

Welcome to the EE Community!

We always aim to keep you connected in as many places as we can, and I can imagine it must be really tough if you're struggling with indoor coverage around this area.

Have you had a chance to head over to our network status checker to see if there's anything ongoing in the area that could be affecting you?

You can find this right HERE, and it will give you an estimate of available coverage, along with any potential faults in the area too.

Website coverage maps for all networks are a computer-based prediction and should be broadly accurate although, naturally, subject to local variations - sometimes just because of granularity.

It would be unusual to have no outdoor coverage in an urban centre, and WiFi-calling mitigates for indoor issues.

Be sure to test any potential new network with PAYG SIMs to ensure coverage & service in all the areas you'll be using your phone, if you're having issues with the predictions for one operator then there's a very good chance you'll have similar issues with others.
