Hoping somebody can advise as this is annoying and flummoxing myself, my sister and my brother in law
For over a week we've all had problems phoning each other. We're all on EE but with different phone models. If we phone each other various things can happen - phone doesn't ring but goes straight to voicemail, phone rings but then the other person can't hear the caller speaking, or as has also happened a message comes up "network not available to voice calls"
We're able to send texts to each other, and speak to each other over WhatsApp. Equally we're able to access wifi without issues.
I've been able to call and be called from landlines (and be heard - despite that "network not available to voice calls" message!) and been called, and able to call a colleague who is on O2
Obviously we'd like to be able to phone and speak to each other - we've all switched phones off and back on, and there's no apparent call diverts set on our phones

Very unusual symptoms. WhatsApp is an internet-app, both your phone & the network handle it as internet-usage, so all this proves is your phone has a working internet-connection.
Is "network not available" an audible announcement, or an on-screen prompt? Are you using Apple or Android?
If you callback after one of these issues, does the call subsequently connect? Are you using WiFi-calling or the mobile network?
I'd recommend noting examples of failed calls, ideally at least 3 from each phone - then contact CS to request further investigations.

Hello there - thank you for your response
The "network not available" message was on-screen; that's only come up for me once but not my sister or brother in law (as yet!) We all use Android rather than Apple and using the mobile network.
So far we've not been able to call each other at all, despite a couple of attempts each time (hence contacting via WhatsApp)
I think we're going to have to log calls as you suggest and contact Customer Services as it does seem very unusual.
