Poor mobile reception

I live in the Churn Valley (between Cirencester and Cheltenham). In the valley mobile connection is very poor. Rendcomb church tower dominates the area and in my non-technical opinion would be an excellent place to put a mast. Who can I contact to discuss the problem and potential solutions?

Hi @GrahamH5,

Welcome to the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your connection, and I can understand your frustration. Do you know who is responsible for the church tower, and are you able to get them to reach out to us, so we can discuss the options for having a mast here?

By means of some background here...

Many church towers do contain antennas within the structure, with the radio equipment elsewhere within the building, and in many other cases antennas are disguised on the outside of a tower structure so as to blend in.

Local authority planning consent can often be a factor in which option is chosen, along with the preference of a willing landlord, and various practical considerations. It's absolutely they who need to be having these discussions with EE's radio planners.
